On 19 June 2026, our SG Cash team had the privilege of participating in our bi-annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme at Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities, Home for Disabled Adults @ Sembawang, led by our CEO, Mr Kenneth Koh.
As the occasion coincided with the Dragon Boat Festival, we celebrated this meaningful festival with 160 residents of the Home through an afternoon filled with joy, companionship and heartfelt interactions. SG Cash sponsored a special tea break featuring soya beancurd from Selegie Beancurd and Swiss rolls from Polar, bringing smiles to the residents and volunteers alike.
A special highlight was the rice dumpling wrapping session, where residents had the opportunity to learn and experience the traditional art of making rice dumplings from scratch. Together with carnival games, art and craft activities, and a lively singing session by our colleagues, the afternoon was filled with laughter, engagement and meaningful connections.
We were also pleased to donate 100 bottles of antibacterial body wash to support the Home’s daily needs.
This event marks SG Cash’s 9th CSR initiative since its inception, reflecting our continued commitment to giving back to the community. More importantly, it reminded us that the true essence of CSR lies not only in giving, but in being present, showing compassion and making a positive difference in the lives of others.
